Privacy Policy

MBOMail is a native macOS wrapper for mailbox.org. Your privacy is important to us.

Data Collection

MBOMail does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not include analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind.

Network Connections

MBOMail connects to the following services:

• mailbox.org — to load your mailbox.org inbox. All communication is between your device and mailbox.org's servers over HTTPS. MBOMail does not intercept, read, or store your email content or credentials.
• Sparkle update feed — to check for application updates. This connects to GitHub to fetch the appcast.xml file. No personally identifiable information is sent.

Local Storage

MBOMail stores preferences and session data locally on your Mac using standard macOS mechanisms (UserDefaults, WebKit storage). This data never leaves your device.

Tracker Blocking

MBOMail includes built-in tracker blocking that strips tracking pixels and blocks third-party cookies within the mail interface. This feature operates entirely on-device.
